Winnie from Winnie-the-Pooh Stories

A Canadian lieutenant once bought a bear from a hunter and named it Winnie. He subsequently donated it to London zoo, where A.A.Milne often saw it. Since Milne liked the bear very much, he presented his son - Christopher Robbins - with  toy bear known as Winnie - the - pooh.  As you all know Milne was the author of Winnie - the - Pooh stories.

Our school has a house named after this most loved character. The house teachers and students recreated all the important characters of Winnie stories. Seeing the tiny tots as world favourite characters was really an eye feast.

2. Piglet: “How do you spell love?”
Pooh: “You don’t spell it, you feel it.”

3.  “Sometimes the smallest things take the most room in your heart.”

4. “A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside.”

5. “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.”
